As an ICT Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our client's business by enhancing their portfolio and contract management capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders across the division, bringing your expertise to analyse current capacities, identify areas for improvement, and implement standardised practices. Your responsibilities will also include developing an understanding of multiple contract requirements, implementing improved ways of working with the Portfolio Office, assisting in training initiatives, articulating financial reporting requirements, designing record retention schedules, and implementing KPIs. This role requires someone who can communicate effectively at all levels, build genuine relationships with stakeholders, inspire change, demonstrate achievement of outcomes, and is driven to make a difference.
Analyse current contract management and administration practices, identifying areas for improvement across process, technology, capacity and capability
Support uplift of identified capacity and capability requirements across the portfolio
Implement standardised practices regarding contract management/administration and delivery
Acquire and develop an understanding of multiple contract requirements and terms and conditions agreed with suppliers
Implement improved ways of working with the Portfolio Office and contract management staff to monitor supplier performance
Assist in providing training, guidance and mentoring regarding contract management practices and administration
Articulate the linkages between contract management/administration and financial reporting requirements
Design and implement contract management records retention in accordance with the Records retention and disposal schedule
Design and implement a suite of KPI's to support effective and efficient contact management practices
