Role Description
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Legal & Commercial Team, ideally being based on-site at Randwick Barracks, NSW.
The role is responsible for providing support to the team through Contract Governance and Control processes, including responsibility for Document Management System, configuration management of the Contract and related CDRL items.
The Contracts Manager is also responsible for development of Contract Change Proposals and ensuring Quotations are generated in accordance with the contract. In addition to the management of formal correspondence, the role also provides advice on supplier management, and ensuring CAE’s export control obligations are met.
The role we offer you:
- As a valued partner, provide support to the Program and Project Managers, in the day to day administration of contracts.
- Manage the Document Management System, including configuration management of the contract and CDRL items.
- Manage insurance requirements supported by global risk management
- Manage Australian Industry Capability requirements
- Draft / recommend actions to Head of Simulation and Training as appropriate
Our ideal candidate has:
- Deep experience in contract management
- Sound experience in commercial management
- Legal or business discipline qualification, or equivalent experience (ideal)
- Experience with the ASDEFCON suite of templates

Security requirements
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
