We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to join a market leading Renewable Energy business based in Sydney CBD. With exposure to some of Australia’s largest Renewable Energy projects this is an opportunity to be at the heart of the energy transition. The role will work closely with a number of external stakeholders the role will be responsible for setting up contract management plans, identifying potential risks and delivering analysis and reporting on contract performance.
Duties
- Supports the development of contract documentation, including contract management plans.
- Advises on contract management policies to drive value for money outcomes.
- Monitors, evaluates and reports on risk and contract performance against KPIs and requirements and implements strategies to drive value for money outcomes.
- Supports the Senior Managers in maintaining relationships with key contractors delivering renewable a variety of renewable projects
- Interprets contract requirements, terms and conditions and ensures that all parties understand and deliver on their responsibilities.
- Supports market research to gain a deep insight of the supply chain, risks, buyer behaviour and other issues (eg. credit ratings, corporate activity, legislation, policies) that impact contracts.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing contracts for large infrastructure/construction projects.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience demonstrated in complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated planning, organisation and relationship management skills.
- Strong interest in, and curiosity about, energy transition is essential.
