About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in our Perth Head office. located in Perth’s CBD on a Full-Time basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and administering various project contracts and documentation to ensure all commercial aspects and conditions are met.
In addition, some of your key tasks will include;
- Lead the development and implementation of contract strategies with the support of the SCEE executive and with the input of the SCEE COO and Project Managers.
- Processing and management of pre-award contract negotiations with potential clients to achieve the desired SCEE result.
- Provide support and contractual assistance to Project Managers where required.
- Demonstrate initiative and continually seek ways that provide the company with a competitive edge and our client’s value for money.
- Provide support and guidance to the Project Managers to close out projects through reviewing, assessing, lodging and negotiating claims.
About You
To be successful in this position you will bring your extensive contracts management experience along with your relevant tertiary qualifications and high-level understanding of contract administration principles.
In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate the following
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills with excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple work packages and interface with internal and external customers.
- The ability to multitask, prioritise own workload and work unsupervised.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail.
- The ability to read and interpret contract documents and technical specifications.
