About the position
The Contracts Officer provides support to staff across Council with regard to contract management and administration matters. This includes preparation of contracts in partnership with technical and professional staff, providing support in implementing contract administration measures in accordance with Council’s policies and assisting in reporting on variation spend.

About you
- Tertiary qualifications relating to procurement, contract management or experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement and contract administration.
- A current NSW driver’s licence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrated high ethical standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of design and construction contracts. (desirable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Aus-Spec and RMS design and construction specifications. (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).
- Demonstrated fundamental key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description).

- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
- Salary from $75,670 to $85,018 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11% superannuation
