Contracts Program Manager

We're looking for a Contracts Program Manager to join our team, with the key focus of managing and administrating our contracts for services and suppliers. This role will provide professional and technical advice relating to the procurement and provision of services, administration, performance, extensions and/or terminations of contracted services within our Service Delivery group.

The Contracts Program Manager will continually look to improve the management and governance oversight of contracted services, including the ability to enhance the performance outcomes achieved from these contract services. The success of the role has a major impact on the safe and efficient delivery of critical maintenance and minor works activities of South East Water's water and sewer asset portfolio. The role will bring strong leadership and subject matter expertise for contract management across the Service Delivery group.

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll have significant experience in management and administration of multiple services long term contracts of significant value and hold a current Victorian Driver's Licence. A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Contract Management or related discipline is advantageous.

In order to see success in the role, you'll need high-level technical understanding of the wastewater and water supply networks and recycled water facilities, design, construction, operation and maintenance. It's important that you have a passion for continuous improvement of safety performance in the workplace including contractors and suppliers of services.

Customers are at the forefront of your decision making. Your strong strategic and commercial acumen will allow you to improve contractual and policy processes in line with South East Water's strategies. In previous roles, you've managed projects and led diverse teams. You build strong relationships with stakeholders and are an excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate, influence and manage conflict effectively.
