We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Specialist to join our growing team!  Please note that this role could be based in either Melbourne or Brisbane.

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and managing budgets and Clinical Trials Research Agreements (CTRA) with internal and external stakeholders.  This also includes the preparation and administration of contracts.

Key responsibilities

  • Communicate with the sponsor regarding developing a budget, contract, and defining timelines.
  • Manage contracts, updating budgets through liaising with Finance and Clinical Teams
  • Ability to negotiate budgetary changes with the Sponsor/CRO
  • Maintain up to date knowledge, ensuring adherence and compliance with local regulatory requirements and associated documentation pertaining to Contracts
  • Ensure attendance at relevant ethics/study/project management related meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Experience in conduct of clinical trials would be desirable
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Able to work independently and effectively in a team
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
