Client Secondments and Contract Recruitment Specialist

Your roleAt Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.You'll be a part of our broader Talent Acquisition Team and based in any State across Australia and will manage our Client Secondments and program.The role specifically takes ownership for filling client secondment requests with our own internal legal talent, and for sourcing and attracting high-quality external candidates to Allens Adapt for placements either with our clients or internally here with us.As a Client Secondments and Allens Adapt Recruitment Specialist you will manage and ensure co-ordination across all aspects of the firm's business process for the placement of Client Secondments including:Prioritising secondment requests in the context of broader firm-wide demand and capacity.Working closely with People & Development, Partners and other stakeholders to identify suitable candidates to satisfy client requests for secondments through internal resourcing options and Allens Adapt.Collaborating with clients to understand their staffing needs and requirements for temporary legal placements, including secondments.Working closely with Pricing and Partners to optimise the pricing outcomes of secondments.Sourcing and attracting qualified external legal candidates for contract positions through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and referrals.Screen and interview Allens Adapt candidates to assess their skills, experience, and practice areas for specific client contract assignments. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process and providing ongoing support.Present qualified candidates (both internal legal staff and external legal contractors) to clients.Negotiating contract terms and conditions, including pay rates, with both candidates and clients.Keeping in contact with secondees and clients throughout the process, including pre-secondment briefings, regular check-ins, and gathering and sharing quality insights post-secondment.Preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports to clients and internal stakeholders.Maintaining and updating Secondments and candidate systems and databases.Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process.This is an 8-week opportunity covering annual leave and full or part-time work patterns (e.g. 0.8 FTE) will be considered.
