Divyajyoti Pty Ltd, trading as Indian Rasoi Wagga Wagga, proudly presents an authentic journey

through traditional Indian flavours. Our menu showcases a delightful array of dishes drawn

from the rich culinary traditions of Mughlai, North Indian, and Awadhi cuisines.

We are actively seeking a seasoned cooking professional with a mastery of Mughlai, North

Indian, and Awadhi cuisines.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for:

 food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation

 estimation, ordering and receiving stock and supplies.

 using all kitchen equipment and tools competently and safely.

 supervising and training kitchen staff.

 working closely with the chef to plan seasonal menus, daily specials, and special events.

 minimizing wastages.

 adhering to standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.

 ensuring compliance with applicable health regulations.

and you will have:

 prior full-time and relevant industry experience of at least 2 years.

 a certificate III including at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or a certificate IV or

another acceptable trade qualification.

 3-year additional relevant experience in lieu of a qualification will be considered.

 appropriate rights to work full time in Australia.

 an in depth understanding of Indian spices, cooking methods and techniques.

 knife skills, time management, multi-tasking.

 a high level of personal hygiene.

Experience within 5-star rated establishments is preferred but not mandatory. An annual

salary between $70,000 to $72,000 plus superannuation will be paid to the right candidate.
