Salary level HEW 7 + 17% superannuation and flexible working arrangements

About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Researcher Capability Development (RCD), you will provide high-level administration, outreach and program delivery support as a member of the RCD team. This team supports the design, development and delivery of strategically relevant programs to support researcher Capability Development. Researcher Capability Development is delivered through a variety of modes including workshops, online modules, mentoring schemes, communities of practice and other experiential activities. The team works closely with subject matter experts and delivery partners from across the University to achieve this.
The RCD team also has responsibility for improving the visibility of Capability Development offerings available university-wide to the researcher community.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups, including those at different levels of responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to effectively convey information across various mediums, including but not limited to web pages, email bulletins, online discussion threads, reports, advisory notes, and PowerPoint presentations, with a focus on clarity and accessibility for all audiences.
Demonstrated visual design skills with the ability to produce visually engaging, usable and navigable material.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with proven ability to organise and prioritise work and complete tasks with tight timeframes, and whilst maintaining attention to detail.
A service excellence mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results for the needs associated with all customers (internal and external), including an understanding of human-centred design techniques.
Experience of using Microsoft Office 365 suite including SharePoint, Power Automate, MS Forms and Teams.
Demonstrated history of behaviour aligned to the RMIT values and professional capability framework.
Previous experience in a University environment and engaging with researchers is preferred, but not essential.

Strategic talent development via coordination of RMIT’s Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellowship Scheme and other enterprise researcher support programs.
Designing, developing and delivering enterprise-wide programs that foster engagement and build researcher capability; and
Development and deployment of interdisciplinary research and innovation capability through RMIT’s eight Enabling Impact Platforms (EIPs).
