About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director, Organisational Effectiveness, and as the leader of the Capability and Development Unit, this role plays a crucial role in delivering programs and projects which improve department performance. The appointee will lead the implementation of a broad based business partnering model covering people and operational issues providing practical and proactive advice through stakeholder engagement and delivering enhancements to business process. Critical to success in this role will be the design and implementation of strategic and tactical learning AND DEVELOPMENT programs, and identifying opportunities for lifting employee capability.
About you
You are a well-respected strategic and tactical leader with a track record of designing organisational development strategies that improve business efficiency. Emotionally intelligent and calm under pressure, your extensive stakeholder relationship management and engagement skills have been honed in complex service organisations. You are creative, resourceful and hands-on, and flex comfortably between the big picture and the delivery of aspects of learning, development and capability uplift programs. You relish the opportunity to play an integral role enhancing the potential of an organisation that strives to advance public health and enhance lives.
