Coordinator Community Wellbeing | Lockyer Valley
Base salary of up to $132k + super
Exposure to various Community Wellbeing disciplines

Lockyer Valley Regional Council is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Coordinator Community Wellbeing to join the Planning, Policy and Community Wellbeing team. Reporting directly to the Manager Planning, Policy and Community Wellbeing you will be pivotal in overseeing the effective management of the Council's environmental health, local laws, pest management and environmental management obligations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Community Wellbeing team, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, regulation and policy.
Manage a small team, providing technical expertise, mentorship and operational leadership.
Provide high-level customer service to stakeholders, ensuring quality and timely resolutions to complaints and inquiries.
Develop and maintain high-level relationships with community organisations and relevant government agencies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures, making recommendations regarding opportunities for improvement.
Collate Council level reporting as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health, Pest Management, Environmental Management or similar, with demonstrated practical experience.
Expertise in regulatory and legislative requirements regarding environmental health, local laws, pest management and environmental management.
Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication ability.
Adept capability in leading a team, fostering a positive culture of continuous improvement.
Personal attributes that align with the Values and Vision of Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
