People and Culture Coordinator
About the company
TP Human Capital is currently recruiting for People and Culture Coordinator on a temporary basis until the end of June 2024 for a local government organisation based in Townsville with clear expectations to focus on the needs and aspirations of the community.
Key Accountabilities:
- Safety & Continuity: Ensure workplace safety and develop plans for business continuity.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data to guide effective strategic decisions.
- People & Culture Leader: Lead and support recruitment, development, and HR strategy implementation.
- Stakeholder & Project Management: Build strong relationships, manage projects, and deliver comprehensive services.
- Talent Acquisition & Budget Management: Lead talent acquisition, manage budget, and oversee vendor contracts.
- Compensation & HRIS Expertise: Manage compensation framework and ensure HR information system effectiveness.
- Strategic Contributor: Participate in strategic decision-making within People & Culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, law, etc.
- Proven experience in similar role (diverse organisation preferred).
- Leadership & development skills in People & Culture.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, interpersonal).
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, & relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, HR systems, & Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to safety culture & regulatory compliance.
