As a Corporate Accountant within our expanding business, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including:
- Manage month-end financial activities, including journal entries, intercompany eliminations, balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly management and financial reports, ensuring all P&L, balance sheet, and inter-entity accounts are reconciled.
- Compile financial deliverables like short-term cash flow reports, annual budgets/forecasts, and group tax compliance for managerial review.
- Work with internal teams to develop budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare for audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring compliance and efficient process.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Preparation of consolidated Statutory Financial Statement in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Assist with the preparation and review of tax effect accounting.
- Assist with ensuring appropriate internal controls and governance.
- Prepare financial reporting and analysis to aid management in making informed decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- CA or CPA qualification
- 5 + years of experience in corporate accounting
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt and be versatile
- Strong systems capability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
