About us:
Brisbane Boys' College is an established GPS day and boarding school. The school was founded in 1902 by Mr Arthur Rudd, who had a vision of moulding boys to be worthy leaders and good citizens – a vision which remains today. The College occupies 13-hectare site four kilometres from the centre of Brisbane and educates boys from Prep to Year 12.
About the role:
The Corporate Services Manager is responsible for the effective oversight and management of the BBC Centralised Services team. Delivering high-quality and efficient support functions that underpin the College’s school operations. This role will maintain a cohesive and collaborative team focusing on professional service delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a framework for the effective facilitation of processes relating to student services, parent services, complaints and grievances, record keeping and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes that deliver operational and cost efficiencies.
- Provide leadership and proactively manage Centralised Services, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across the College.
- Manage and participate in cross-departmental projects aligned with the Strategic Plan and in accordance with the Operational Plan.
About you
- Understand the application and implementation of centralised services in a school setting.
- Demonstrated people management experience with the ability to foster positive staff engagement and service delivery.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Solution focused with a strong capacity to manage problems and minimise and mitigate risk.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
- Proven experience in successful facilitation of business support services, and team leadership roles.
- Familiarity with risk management systems and internal audit frameworks.
- Experience in overseeing centralised service teams.
