To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible. View our for information on how to respond to criteria and . * A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or as otherwise deemed appropriate by employer or (b) Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completion of four-year sequence of accredited undergraduate study in the discipline of psychology (or equivalent completed overseas).
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in providing counselling, crisis intervention, complex risk assessments, groupwork, and case management interventions to clients who have experienced domestic and family violence.
- Demonstrated high level understanding of the dynamics and effects of domestic and family violence, sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect, with a commitment to integrated models for working with clients who have experienced trauma.
- Knowledge and understanding of current domestic and family violence policies and guidelines, and child protection legislations with appropriate responses for clinical practice.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision and expert advice/consultation to other professionals in relation to domestic and family violence.
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
