Marketing Event Coordinator

Our client is a leader in their business with their presence across APJC. They are looking to bring Creative and Marketing Event Coordinator for supporting the Asia Pacific, Japan and China (APJC) Event
The role will focus on providing thought leadership, focus, guidance and direction in partnership with key stakeholders including the marketing, sales, engineering and executive teams to deliver the event experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and execution on program elements of the company's regional flagship event.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with other cross functional communities such as Channels, Sales, Engineering, Product Sales, Executives, PR, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Strategy Planning and Operations to ensure event objectives are met
- Execute event branding, goals, objectives, vision and mission statements to ensure event is aligned with relevant business priorities.
Program areas include -
- Lead a content program aligned to the event objectives by engaging with the wider community to deliver breakout sessions, keynotes, and other elements
- Event manage ancillary events taking place under the flagship event
- Omni channel marketing, including digital and social media programs
- Develop and manage an audience acquisition strategy and targets to deliver registration targets and revenue
The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills, experienced and highly skilled in the following areas - Candidate Skills
- Corporate event marketing
- Event marketing strategies
- Event production
- Exhibition and sponsorship management
- Event registration and technology requirements
- Agency/supplier relationships
- Event finance and budgeting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
- Desire to work in a regional, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strong project management capabilities. Must have the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent demanding initiatives
- IT/Technology background would be desirable
