Account Manager - Large events

Our client is a large venue-based organisation specializing in events and venue management, known for delivering exceptional services and creating memorable experiences. Our client is a leader in showcasing food, beverage, and premier events.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing venue bookings, securing sponsorships, and handling exhibitor relations. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the successful execution of various events and programs.

The Role:

• Manage client accounts, focusing on venue bookings and external events
• Secure and negotiate sponsorships for various programs
• Pitch proposals and service accounts to ensure client satisfaction
• Liaise with operational staff for event execution
• Champion designated pillars such as venue management, show sponsorships, and food & beverage sponsorships

Requirements:

• Experience in sales within a large venue 
• Indoor and outdoor event experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• A proactive mindset and able to leverage relationships to pursue opportunities 
• Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings (time in lieu policy for work outside of hours) 
• Deep knowledge and experience in marketing, product development, and event management
• Strong relationship skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Momentus
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with sound judgment
