Immanuel Gardens aged care in Buderim, part of Lutheran Services, is a picturesque coastal haven nestled in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. Specializing in personalized aged care services, we focus on individual wellbeing and enhancing quality of life.
About the Role:
This part-time position offers flexible shifts Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 5 pm. As a Creative Programs Facilitator, you'll join a dynamic team of local volunteers, utilising a diverse range of talents to create engaging programs for our residents/clients. Your responsibilities will include designing, coordinating, and delivering individual and group creative activities tailored to residents' preferences, promoting wellbeing and vitality. By collaborating with residents, families, and care staff, you'll assess needs and develop activities aligned with social, cultural, and spiritual interests.
What You'll Do:
Every day will be bustling with activity! From greeting residents and colleagues to leading exercise classes, organising concerts, and providing technical support, your role will encompass a wide array of tasks aimed at enriching residents' lives. You'll also spend quality time with individuals unable to participate in group activities, fostering meaningful connections and laughter whenever possible.
About You:
As an ideal candidate, you'll embody client-centred values and demonstrate a commitment to meeting individual needs. Your previous experience in facilitating learning, social, or cultural activities, coupled with your approachable demeanour and warmth, will set you apart. Whether you're a musician, artist, or dancer, your passion for creativity and fostering joy in others will shine through. A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health would be highly desirable.
