The Company: Our client is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. This position will sit within the Finance department based at the Sydney Olympic Park Office. The primary function of the role is to assess credit account applications and manage contracts, insurance and credit risk. This role requires the individual to work 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home on a 6 month fixed-term contract. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess Account Applications and review existing customer’s credit limit as per credit guidelines set.
- Credit limit management – (e.g. Payment term extensions/changes, Peak Season credit limit support, Credit limit Extensions, Usage, Change in Limits, Account Block/Release, Account Liquidation/Administration/Closure etc)
- Insurance and Guarantee Management – Renewal/extensions, Change in covers, Claims, Disclosures
- PPSR Management – Register and Apply Personal Property Securities Reform knowledge
- Top 10 Organization Chart and Media Sensing, be able to detect potential credit risk
- Liaising with Customer and Sales team on credit account queries.
- Administration Tasks/Adhoc as requested by management
- Assist on Annual Internal/External Audit requirements
- Vendor (BQMS) Financial Soundness Report
- Process documentation creation/update
- Master Data management (SCES)
- Contract Management
- Previous experience as credit risk analyst
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting & Finance
- Contract or Insurance management experience (preferred)
- Building & Maintaining internal & external customer relations
- Ability to analyse Financial statements and evaluate credit risks
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office including Adobe and Excel
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high pressure, dynamic team environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- SAP experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent written and communication skills
