We are currently seeking an experienced Broker Assistant / Loan Packager & Processing Officer to join one of Australia’s top brokerages.
The Role:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General broker assisting duties;
- Loan processing & packaging;
- Communicating with clients, lenders & legal professionals;
- Managing the loan process from lead to post-settlement;
- Drafting and managing internal and external communications;
- Diary and email management & general assistant duties where needed;
- Data entry into Salestrekker and Apply Online;
- Preparing Compliance Documentation for proposed loans where required;
- Lodging loan applications & following up lenders where required;
- Organising valuations and pricing approvals with lenders;
- Booking & organising settlements with the clients, solicitors, & lenders; and
- Ensuring all settled files are compliant.
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years loan packaging & processing experience;
- ApplyOnline experience;
- Salestrekker experience is highly desirable but not crucial;
- Ability to review and interpret income documentation to assess client serviceability;
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload & work well in stressful situations;
- Ability to prioritise;
- Think proactively;
- Provide a high standard of customer service;
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal); and
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team.
The Salary:
- $90K + Super Base;
- Commission based on monthly settlement volume; and
- Annual discretionary bonus.
