About the opportunity: 

Reporting into the credit manager, the focus of this role is to perform debt collection activity for all monies due and past due as detailed within the West region, and in line with specified collection procedures and timelines. In addition, you will:

• Call customers to follow up on outstanding debt, and negotiate suitable payment arrangements. 
• Build long lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely payments. 
• Monitor accounts and payments into accounts. 
• Place relevance holds and blocks on accounts where necessary. 
• Record relevant customers notes and keep client files up to date.
• Adhere to Nutrien’ s compliance and confidentiality processes. 
• Complete related reporting and analysis where required. 

A little about you:

To be successful in the role, you will have experience in a similar debt recovery or collection’s role, ideally with Agribusiness exposure. In additional you will demonstrate: 

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships, and influence others. 
• Strong data analytic skills and commercial acumen.
• Computer literacy with exposure to the Microsoft suite. 
• Willingness to learn and get the job done. 
• Adaptability. 
• Experience with SAP and Power BI (Desirable)
