Credit Operations Officer

The CompanyOur client is becoming one of the global leader in its industry, and is looking for an experienced Credit Officer to join their team in their Sydney CBD Office. In this role, as a Credit Operations Officer in Sydney, your main role is to directly assist customers seeking credit approval. collaborating closely with internal stakeholders based in the US and your customers. As a temporary position, the contract duration is expected to be 6-months +. The Role Your responsibilities span from onboarding, collecting documents, and ensuring compliance, to submission and credit approval. Maintaining strong client relationships and understanding their financial background is crucial throughout. You'll report to the Onboarding Manager and Credit Manager, both based in Chicago. · Main duties:· Analyse and monitor if customers can be trusted to pay back money.· Look at their financial statements and use ratios and trends to decide if they can get a loan.· Check dealer accounts to make sure they don't owe money and review audit results.· Work with Credit and Operations teams to follow rules.· Help existing dealers and bring in new ones.· Send credit packages to the U.S. team for approval and analyze collateral like accounts receivable and inventory.
