SalaryOur client, specialising in criminal law, is seeking highly skilled and experienced Criminal Lawyers to join their dynamic team. The Role
As a Criminal Lawyer with 3+ years of post-qualification experience, you will play a crucial role in handling complex crime investigations, covering a diverse range of cases such as assault, abuse, property damage, drug offenses, sexual offenses, murder, and manslaughter.
Key Responsibilities
Draft legal documents, conduct research, and analyse complex legal issues related to criminal law.
Investigate cases, prepare for trial, and present defense strategies, including the evaluation of the prosecution’s case and negotiation of plea bargains.
Regularly communicate with clients, providing clear and concise advice to ensure informed decision-making and maintaining strong client relationships.
Develop and implement defense strategies tailored to unique circumstances, analysing evidence, scrutinising legal precedents, and leveraging expertise to craft effective defense strategies.
You
3+ years of experience specialising in criminal law.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and proven analytical skills.
Articulate communicator with active listening skills.
Analytical and inquisitive mindset with a strong work ethic.
Ability to prioritise work, collaborate within a team, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Capability to analyse and work with large volumes of digital and paper information.
*Language skills in Mandarin would be considered a bonus for at least one of these positions but it is not essential for these roles.

Benefits
Salary range dependant on experience circa $100,000 to $150,000 + Super
