About the role
As a CRM Specialist at Officeworks, you will play a pivotal role in leading technical projects and campaigns within the Automation Marketing space (EDM, data, and platform capability) to support the CRM marketing program of work. Working closely with the CRM, Martech, and Loyalty teams, you will utilise analytics resources, customer insights and your commercial acumen to develop innovative strategies aligning with the broader CRM objectives set by the CRM Manager.
You will be involved in developing and implementing campaign strategies, improving processes, managing projects, and technology implementation to build the capability for more efficient delivery of EDM and automation campaign activity to market.
You will be a pivotal member of the CRM team providing oversight, support and guidance (via analysis, customer insights, understanding of our capability and commercial acumen) to guide the development of innovative and effective strategies within our CRM and Lifecycle programs.
Some key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the implementation of systems and tools to ensure customer information is captured and used effectively, including defining the strategy for new programs and provide guidance on existing programs
  • Managing key projects and campaigns across email and push activity, including strategy development, implementation, managing project timelines, analysis and reporting
  • Conducting analysis of our existing campaign activity, data and Martech stack to identify areas for improvement and create strategies to refine processes and targeting
  • Supporting review of strategy, reporting and ideation amongst the team, using your experience and knowledge to feed into key campaigns and activity
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to marketing automation, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into our strategies
  • Assisting with developing a long-term CRM roadmap with the CRM manager, including a test and learn calendar and cross-channel opportunities
This team works in a hybrid way based out of our Chadstone Support office two days a week.
About you
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for CRM. You will need to be flexible, a team player and have excellent key stakeholder management skills. You will have the following:
Equipment Operated/Technology Used:
  • Marketing Automation Platforms (Adobe Stack preferential).
  • Analytics platforms (Adobe Stack and Power Bi).
  • Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Email Production Software and occasional Photoshop use.
  • Familiarity with HTML (basic understanding).
Minimum Requirements:
  • Tertiary equivalent with Marketing or Communications major preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a CRM/direct marketing role or digital marketing role.
  • Proven experience as a CRM/Automation Specialist in a similar role, with a strong focus on developing and implementing strategy for CRM projects and automated marketing campaigns
  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and budget management.
  • Excellent team player with outstanding communication and organisational skills.
