Join our team as a Crushing Supervisor at our West Musgrave project.
This role is site based, working a 2 week on, 1 week off roster.
You will be responsible for supervising day to day crushing activities on site and be responsible for the safety of operations, execution of works and delivering works within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;
- Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of maintenance & production schedules;
- Driving operational efficiencies;
- Providing effective leadership and supervision through ‘on the ground’ presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals;
- Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner;
- Inspiring and encouraging others towards goal achievement; and
- Periodically assessing employee performance by conducting scheduled appraisals in accordance with performance objectives and prepares corrective and development plans as necessary.
- Relevant trade qualification;
- Experience in a supervisory/maintenance role;
- Experience and solid understanding of mobile crushing operations;
- Experience in maintaining mobile crushing plant, including impact, jaw, and cone crushers;
- Experience with Nordberg crushing plant (desirable);
- Effective time management, planning and prioritisation skills;
- Confident communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (e.g., MEX); and
- A commitment to safety, hands on approach to the role and desire to work in remote locations.
