An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Team Leader to join our Central Specimen Reception within Austin Pathology to fill a permanent full time position. Central Specimen Reception operates a 24 hour service, 7 days a week. The successful candidate must be willing and available to work any time on a rotating roster acros the 7 days.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/key responsibilities will include:
Ensure sample samples are processed ina atimely manner to meet turnaround times KPI's
Manage fron end workflow to meet service demands
Assist in preparationof methods, manuals and process documentation
Assist to train, monitor, and evaluate the performance of staff
Respond to telephone enquiries and/or direct calls appropriately
Sort and distribute samples as they arrive into the laboratory
