About the Role
We are seeking energetic and innovative CSSD Team Leaders with a strong team focus to assist in the day-to-day coordination of the Central Sterilising Stores Department activities.
In this role you will be required to lead a busy team of CSSD Technicians to ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner.
- This position requires an individual with the ability to be a positive role model and a passionate mentor.
- The ability to work a rotating 7-day roster is required.
Your Skills and Experience
You will have exceptional communication skills and will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of professionals.
You will also demonstrate
- Cert III in Sterilisation
- Minimum 3 (three) years’ CSSD experience essential with demonstrated leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of standards & AS5369 requirements
- Experience in competency assessment and staff training
- Previous experience with loans equipment highly desirable.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $34.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

John Flynn Private Hospital is a 354 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, on the southern end of the Gold Coast. The hospital provides services to the population of the Gold Coast and the Tweed Coast extending into the NSW Northern Rivers area.
