About the opportunity
Join our team as Culture and Capability Business Partner on a permanent, full-time basis. We're on the hunt for an innovative and experienced professional candidate who can help take our organisational Culture and employee engagement initiatives to the next level.
Key accountabilities includes:

  • Provide support to the Senior Coordinator Culture and Capability and the Executive Manager People and Culture
  • Coordinate the annual achievement planning program for all our staff
  • Assist in the delivery of the annual performance review program for our Managers
  • Develop and maintain performance management training programs for new, emerging, and existing leaders across the organisation
  • Provide specialist advice and expertise on culture, employee engagement and organisational development, including projects programs, plans, policies, and other initiatives such as diversity and inclusion, and employee value proposition.
Essential:
  • Relevant degree qualifications in an appropriate field
  • In-depth experience in a similar position with exposure to change management, engagement, and Capability and performance frameworks
  • Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed computer skills, with demonstrated experience in Learning and Development and Human Resource information systems and related applications
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
  • Current class C driver’s licence.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
  • Entry level for this position starts at $2,011.56 per week
  • 35-hour working week
  • Car allowance
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
