Customer Care Consultant

About our Role

The Customer Care Consultant will be responsible for achieving customer satisfaction by:

• being the central point of contact for all customer enquiries via phone or email
• providing a high level of customer service across all communication interactions
• determining the nature of calls and providing appropriate response/assistance
• researching and following up on any customer concerns should they not be able to be resolved at the first point of contact
• recording and tracking all customer interactions on the customer register
• being the subject matter expert on XAP (booking system) and CCS (Child Care Subsidy)
• coordinating the sending of any bulk communications to parents via XAP
• completing any adhoc administrative duties as required

The Customer Care Consultant will be hired for 5 months to cover a Maternity Leave position with the possibility of extending and will work full time from 9am - 5pm. We are looking to recruit as soon as possible.

Our Patch is committed to protecting children from harm. We require all applicants to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment. The successful applicant is required to possess a current and valid ‘working with children’ check and is subject to a satisfactory criminal history record check.

Do you have what we’re looking for?

We are on the lookout for an individual who has a proven record in being able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and not afraid to get in and get your hands dirty. You must have:

• Previous experience in a customer service-based environment
• Excellent customer resolution ability
• Strong communication skills
• Solid administrational and MS Office competency
• have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• highly organised with strong analytical and negotiation capabilities
• a positive can do attitude
• previous experience in OSHC desirable however not necessary as full training will be provided
