Our Client
Is a leading direct to consumer e-commerce brand based in Los Angeles, California setting up a new base In Melbourne – Australia for their patented washable rug design that's disrupting the home décor industry.
Growth opportunity exists for a full-time Customer Care Specialist to join the Customer Experience team! This individual will act as the voice of our client for the Australian and Korean market, interacting with South Korean and Australian customers primarily via Kakao and chat.
The ideal candidate is someone with prior experience conducting customer service, has a positive and upbeat attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment with an engaged team.
Experience:
- Serve as the voice for our American client based in Melbourne Australia for the Korean / Australian customers
- Delivering excellent customer service primarily via phone
- Provide timely and thorough resolution to customer inquiries (common inquiries include: returns, cancellations, exchanges, tracking and status updates, product recommendations)
- Act as a product expert and maintain high understanding of our website, features, and clients products
- Communicate with management to escalate problems and recommend resolutions to better our customer experience, especially as the Australian / Korean market grows
- Professional written and verbal communication, fluent in English and Korean
- Experience resolving inquiries with high empathy and customer engagement
- Ability to resolve inbound chat inquiries efficiently and concisely
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications (i.e., Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel)
- Self starter and multi-tasker, while remaining responsible and detail-oriented
- Advantage to have experience with e-commerce companies (i.e., websites + apps)
- Advantage to have familiarity with Zendesk and Shopify (advantage to have)
