NM Insurance is a market leading distributor of insurance products and services, in the retail recreational areas of pleasure craft, motorcycle and caravan as well as commercial marine insurance lines.
Our business is expanding, and we are currently looking for a Customer Engagement Lead to join our great Customer Engagement Team.
Our business operates through offices across Australia and New Zealand. Most of our Insurance Products are distributed via intermediary partners, primarily through licensed Insurance Brokers, as well as franchised dealers of pleasure craft and direct to consumers in the Australian and New Zealand Market.
NM Insurance requires a professional and energetic Customer Engagement Lead.
The role involves handling inbound calls and email enquiries from customers regarding a range of insurance products. You will be for working within a team environment assisting with the day-to-day activities of quoting & processing, speaking with customers, and working within the underwriting guidelines and your authority limits.
The responsibilities will include:
- Handling queries from new and existing customers
- Providing exceptional customer service whilst adhering to strict underwriting guidelines
- Engage in a team environment to support portfolio, and company requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of compliance, support and professionalism both internally and externally.
- Process and assist with referrals from our business development teams nationwide.
- Report and promote within regulatory framework possible business risks and breaches.
- Remain within agreed delegated underwriting authority.
Rostered hours between 7.30am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday.
Skills and experience:
Strong sales/service experience gained in a Contact Centre or retail environment with previous insurance sales experience a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding and identifying business partner opportunities
- Great attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and to be a team player
- Compliance Focused
- Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Sound Microsoft office skills (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance standards and procedures and RG146 Tier 2 are desirable.
