About the role:
As the Customer Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for mining business and customer data to identify customer experience improvement opportunities, undertaking diagnostic analyses to support decision making, undertaking customer segmentation and predictive modelling to help the business meet strategic and operational objectives. Additional accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
- Utilise customer data from a variety of system and non-system sources to answer complex business questions
- Deliver robust and actionable Customer Insights from analysis and modelling to support Unitywater’s strategic objectives
- Communicate Customer Insights, via presentations and reports, to Unitywater subject matter experts and executive in order to influence and inform decision making.
- Work with a range of analytical tools such as Excel, PowerBI, SQL and Python to undertake data extraction, cleaning, analysis and modelling.
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty& Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
- Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative field.
- Significant experience in data analysis and mining across a range of data sources and subject matter areas.
- Proven skills in the use of quantitative analysis tools such including Excel, SQL and PowerBI. Experience with Python is desirable.
- Curiosity and passion for data exploration and mining and ability to quickly make sense of data. Excellent quantitative data analysis skills, ideally with some experience in machine learning or statistical modelling.
