About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Industry Development Manager to join our Retail Operations team in this full time permanent position. Reporting to the Head of Industry, Networks & Metering, this role is responsible for representing Alinta Energy and actively participating in various industry engagement channels relating to B2B & B2M processes to ensure the best outcomes for the business.
In this role, you’ll be:
- Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and data governance.
- Reviewing and analysing data and reporting to identify patterns, trends, and areas of opportunity for manager action or P&C process optimisation and improvement.
- Using advanced statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights from P&C data, such as employee engagement, turnover, recruitment, and performance.
- Working with the Data & Digital team to find the most efficient use of extracting data from P&C Systems into Alinta Data Hub (ADH)Ensure that your functional and technical designs align with internal IT standards and data privacy considerations.
- Keeping up to date on knowledge of various automation tools and process management software available.
Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:
- Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, with expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced MS Excel skills
- Software development skills (Java, HTML, SQL)
- Experience with setting up API’s
- HR systems and databases, with the ability to extract and manipulate data for analysis
- Highly organised and efficient
- 7 years experience in thorough testing of software systems
