About the Role:

As our Customer Relations Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and actively engaging in addressing customer queries and escalations to Internal Dispute Resolution.
  • Gathering information, analysing evidence, and making recommendations for Internal Dispute Resolution.
  • Identifying opportunities within the Internal and External dispute process, collaborating with Function leaders to enhance outcomes.
  • Working closely with Management to implement changes that elevate overall service quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies & procedures of the Consumer Finance Division, including the Credit Policy, Privacy Act & NCC.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in high-volume transactional call center environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially adept at phone communication.
  • Strong customer service aptitude, proficient in de-escalating challenging situations, and adept at achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for the company and the customer.
  • Capability to handle high-pressure environments, maintaining composure, courtesy, and methodical approach, while demonstrating empathy and a determined, focused results orientation.
  • Thorough understanding of the national credit code, with the ability to operate in accordance with the code when dealing with consumers and external stakeholders.
  • Experience within the Financial Services and/or Debt Collection industry is advantageous.
