About the position
At the heart of our Club is the great relationships we have with our fans and members, and we are looking for a highly motivated and engaged sales professional who thrives in a ‘sales through service’ culture.
As a key member of our Sales & Customer Service team, you will be responsible for taking inbound sales orders and enquiries, executing targeted outbound sales & promotional campaigns and ultimately growing fan and member engagement with the club. Your role is to ensure our customers receive a first-class experience and contribute towards the club delivering strong sales outcomes across membership, hospitality, ticketing and events.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing best in class levels of customer service to our members and fans, by ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries via phone (inbound/outbound), email, F2F, online live chat, mail and social
- Achieving sales growth and campaign targets
- Supporting Club ticketing requirements for home and away matches
- Support in the delivery of events and match day opportunities to further engage existing customers and attract new ones
- Collaborating cross functionally with a range of internal departments to plan & execute targeted sales campaigns across membership, corporate hospitality, ticketing and events
- Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to ensure all customer engagements are captured.
About you
- High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Fantastic communication skills - both written and verbal
- A team player attitude, you love to collaborate and pro-actively assist other team members
- Previous experience in a sales role with a proven ability to work towards targets
- Availability to work outside of standard working hours at Parramatta Eels home matches, membership/club events and select away matches.
