Customer Service and Logistics Officer Trainee

Programmed, in partnership with Cochrane's Transport is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Logistics Officer Trainee. As the primary point of contact for valued customers, you will play a pivotal role in upholding high levels of customer satisfaction and positioning our business as the preferred choice for express parcel delivery in the region.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one support to Cochrane's Transport's large portfolio of customers.
• Completing monthly Service Performance Reporting.
• Responding to customer inquiries and providing timely, accurate, and appropriate information and assistance.
• Effectively managing customer complaints, issues, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Utilizing company programs for in-depth investigations, including camera checks.
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of company products and services to effectively address customer needs.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient inquiry processing and documentation.

Inherent requirements of the role:

• Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field (2-5 years).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs.
• Proficient in the use of Customer Service and Freight Management systems and programs, including FMS (desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of customer inquiries.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and friendly demeanour.
• Hold an Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency
• Current full Drivers Licence
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
