Position Overview
We are seeking a confident and motivated Customer Service Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role will report to the Customer Service and Supply Chain Manager and support our busy, tightknit Supply Chain and Logistics Team.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential to provide first-class Customer Service to our global customer base. Responsibilities will include providing product information, processing orders, addressing customer inquiries, finding appropriate solutions and resolving problems quickly in a changeable, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a calm, meticulous approach to demanding situations and enjoy managing diverse, multi-national and multi-cultural relationships across the supply chain.
Flexibility is important as some out of hours and weekend work will be required due to our international markets and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Promptly address complaints and resolve problems within critical time frames
- Improve Customer Service quality results by evaluating processes and implementing change
- Maintain effective communication internally across Processing, Sales, and Marine Operations
- Coordinate inventory and storage of Clean Seas products
- Assist with domestic and international transportation
- Assist in monitoring shipments, costs, timelines and productivity
- Support the optimization of logistical procedures, domestic and international
- Conduct quality assurance surveys with customers
- Work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
- Commit to Clean Seas WHS practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement
Key Prerequisites
- Understanding of best practice Customer Service management
- Experience in Food/Food processing industries preferred
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of domestic and international freight forwarding preferred
- Keen analysis, numeracy and reporting skills
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Highly proficient MS Office Suite and Excel
- Knowledge of Customer Service/Logistics IT systems preferred
- Flexible attitude with the ability to work under pressure
