Customer Service and Logistics Officer Trainee

Programmed, in partnership with Cochrane's Transport is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Logistics Officer Trainee. As the primary point of contact for valued customers, you will play a pivotal role in upholding high levels of customer satisfaction and positioning our business as the preferred choice for express parcel delivery in the region.   Your main responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one support to Cochrane's Transport's large portfolio of customers. Completing monthly Service Performance Reporting. Responding to customer inquiries and providing timely, accurate, and appropriate information and assistance. Effectively managing customer complaints, issues, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Utilizing company programs for in-depth investigations, including camera checks. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of company products and services to effectively address customer needs. Ensuring accurate and efficient inquiry processing and documentation. You will gain a: Nationally Recognised Qualification (Certificate III or IV) View to permanent post traineeship Long-term career pathway  Paid full-time wages 4 weeks annual leave per year Inherent requirements of the role: Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field (2-5 years). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs. Proficient in the use of Customer Service and Freight Management systems and programs, including FMS (desirable). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of customer inquiries. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and friendly demeanour.…
