We are seeking an experienced full time Customer Service Officer to join our dedicated team in Adelaide.
Our Customer Service Officers contribute to our mission by providing friendly, prompt and professional Customer Service through both direct customer interactions and their work with our experienced travel professionals.
About the role
- Be part of a team that is focused on delivering an exceptional experience for all Endeavour Tours customers.
- Manage customer bookings from enquiry, through to payment and confirmation of relevant details prior to departure.
- Promptly respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote customer loyalty and retention.
- Coordinate customer logistics at the time of departure and return of tours, including collection and drop-off of customers using the company vehicle.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate teams.
- Assist with tour product development, including coordination of suppliers and venues as required.
- Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the Endeavour Tours product offering and benefits to support the customer experience and compliment marketing and sales campaigns.
- Assist with general and tour-related administrative tasks as required.
About you
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to work constructively within a team.
- You will be proactive and demonstrate a high level of initiative, ownership and problem-solving.
- You will demonstrate the ability to grow customer loyalty by providing consistently excellent levels of Customer Service.
- You will have the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the travel industry is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft 365 suite and online booking / CRM software products is preferred.
