DM Plastics & Steel is a privately owned South Australian company whose core business is the manufacture and supply of plastic pipes, fittings, and specialty rural, viticulture and agricultural products.
Due to a change in the business, we are seeking a fulltime Territory Manager to join our customer focused sales team based at our offices at Dry Creek SA.
The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be an integral member of this energetic and fast-moving business. You will have a strong focus on day-to-day sales, growing and managing key client accounts.
This role will provide you with the scope to deliver on our short and long-term sales objectives, which are critical for our ongoing growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure relationships are maintained with all distributors, re-sellers and their teams.
- Drive growth in our MIC markets.
- Build relationships with key MIC clients.
- Build on existing and new relationships with key distributor groups.
- Liaise with Authorities/Engineers/Mining Principals re Product approvals.
Experience, Qualifications and Attributes
- Extensive understanding and expertise in the pipe or similar industries.
- Experience in building and management of accounts.
- Experience or knowledge of PRONTO software would be advantageous but not a necessity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
This role will suit a sales professional who enjoy variety within a team environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be favourable, however training will be provided for the right candidate.
An attractive salary package is on offer which includes fully maintained tool of trade motor vehicle, laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
The position requires intra-and some interstate travel, which will be discussed at the interview.
Relocation to South Australia will be considered for the right candidate.
