Based in Mawson Lakes, as our invaluable Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service and support to both potential and existing customers who enquire about Helping Hand’s Home Care Services and the Aged Care System. 

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Ensuring a positive Customer Service experience by being energetic, enthusiastic and engaged in every interaction with a customer.
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of aged care services including My Aged Care, aged care assessment processes, funding structures, advocacy and rights principles.
  • Engaging with customers, building rapport and ensuring all customers are getting the best services for their circumstances.
  • Supporting customers though assessment and accessing to appropriate Home Care Services including CHSP and HCP programs.
  • Screening the referral on MACG and establishing the best pathway and urgency of care, as well as the suitability of client for available package.

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Exceptional communication with superior interpersonal skills 
  • A commitment to delivering quality customer focused services to both internal and external customers.
  • Experience in maintaining and operating in environments where information is of a private and / or confidential nature.
  • Great multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Certificate III in Call Centre Communications.
  • Understanding of the My Aged Care Gateway.
  • Previous experience in Customer Service
  • Previous experience working in the Aged Care industry
