We're on the lookout for an IT Help Desk Officer to join our collaborative team, providing comprehensive IT support to all members of our organization, ensuring seamless and efficient job performance.
What can you expect to be doing?- Deliver IT support to staff, assisting with onboarding / offboarding and tackling a diverse array of tech-related inquiries and tasks.
- Provide assistance, addressing a wide range of IT-related requests encompassing desktop computers, printers, software, telephony, and network issues.
- Promptly identify and escalate complex problems requiring specialized expertise.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from internal staff with efficiency, accurately logging and managing issues.
- Expedite the resolution of hardware faults and software configuration problems by collaborating with relevant suppliers as necessary.
- Diligently investigate and resolve IT errors, data inconsistencies, and other queries.
- Contribute to the maintenance of ICT equipment, asset management, and record-keeping procedures.
- Support end users and staff in utilizing IT systems through comprehensive training initiatives.
- Provide professional support to staff, demonstrating unwavering dedication to promptly resolving IT challenges.
- Prioritize proactive customer communication and maintain regular contact with stakeholders.
- Provide a customer-focused approach across all business operations.
- Ensure that customer outcomes remain the focal point of decision-making processes.
- Cultivate an inclusive, diversified, friendly, positive, and engaging organizational culture.
- Demonstrated proficiency in delivering outstanding support within a service desk setting.
- Exceptional customer service aptitude and strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in security administration, Microsoft suite and Hardware / Office equipment set up.
- Familiarity with Microsoft server and system technologies, alongside backup and disaster recovery methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, aligning with AnglicareSA's organizational values.
- Information Technology related qualification (or related experience)
