About the opportunity: An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Customer Services Officer with the Department for Energy and Mining (DEM). The role will provide customer support for consumer-facing energy projects and programs led or supported by DEM that contribute to South Australia’s energy leadership. The role has a focus on assisting households, ensuring information accessibility, and delivering high levels of support.
The role may from time to time also provide a broader advisory service to support improved energy efficiency, literacy, affordability and education.

Key Selection Criteria: Please only address the dot points listed below in your application
- Knowledge of consumer-facing energy projects and programs led or supported by the Government of South Australia, or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge.
- Well-developed ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Sound ability to research and analyse problems and to prepare and draft clear, sensitive and concise recommendations.
- Ability to work independently, either as an individual or team member, under limited direction, identify performance outcomes, plan activities and set priorities to achieve objectives within deadlines.
Remuneration:
ASO4, Salary range $75,430 - $79,070 per annum
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
