Due to significant growth in the Business, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer/ Hire Controller to join our Richlands based Operations Team. Our team of Hire Controllers play a key role in delivering professional and reliable service for our customers. Working in the hub of the business, you will be responsible for taking customer orders, coordinating equipment allocations and solving daily logistical challenges.
This position will report to our Customer Service Manager and work closely with our Sales, Service and Transport Teams. Access Hire Industry experience is desirable but not essential.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering telephone calls and taking equipment orders.
- Monitoring and responding to emails and other customer enquiries.
- Assisting with transport coordination for equipment hires.
- Accurately inputting orders and related information into our databases.
- Organising Cross Hires to minimise costs.
- Assisting with training and mentoring of Hire Controllers and other staff from time to time.
- Pricing of customer orders.
- Other duties as required to foster a team environment.
The successful applicant will have
- Experience in and a passion for Customer Service.
- Excellent data entry skills to ensuring accuracy of information.
- Time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (with fellow staff and customers).
- A well-presented manner and can-do attitude.
