The Opportunity
The successful incumbent will assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Noosa Aquatic Centre’s reception area ensuring a high standard of Customer Service is always provided.
The position will support the provision of a well-planned and operated aquatics facility with services that respond to community and industry practices that achieves key performance indicators.

Position Remuneration: Aquatics Grade 3 ($44,517.34 to $68,488.22) TRP (total remuneration package) which is inclusive of 12% employer superannuation and 17.5% leave loading based on a permanent full-time employee

About You
To undertake this position, you will have demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst communicating with all levels of staff, the public and community groups in a helpful manner.
You will showcase personal attributes which resonate with Noosa Council’s values.
Further but not limited to, you will have the ability to exercise initiative in the performance of duties and work with both limited supervision and as a team member.
The position's focus will be:
Attend to all public entering and/or enquiring about all aspects of the Centre’s operations in a professional, friendly, helpful manner.
Cash handling, EFTPOS, sales of memberships & retail in a fast-paced environment.
Handle customer complaints and suggestions or forward to relevant Supervisor or Coordinator as appropriate.
Identify needs and opportunities for the continued development of the reception area.
Assist/attend to Learn to Swim enquiries and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Learn to Swim program.
Assist with administration support and projects under the direction of supervisor.
Specialised counter enquiries and assist with projects under the direction of supervisor.
Assist with the training of new staff in accordance with centre policies and procedures.
To assist with (and in the absence of the respective supervisor take the responsibility for) the delivery of Customer Service, development of rosters, banking, retail operations and marketing including website maintenance.
Act as duty manager as required, ensuring adherence to relevant operational guidelines and each facilities policy and procedures.
Such other relevant duties as required from time to time which would generally fall within the scope of this position.
