Customer Service Officer

MAYDAY Recruitment seeks an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join a leading insurance and financial services company in Sydney CBD. 

As a CSO, you'll provide vital administrative and Customer Service support to internal and external customers. You’ll lead client interactions, managing calls, emails, and addressing queries precisely and efficiently, and process and approve loan applications according to credit policy.

• Engage with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders through phone and email interactions.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to queries, demonstrating exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Process and approve loan applications according to credit policies and procedures in an accurate and timely manner 
• Log all calls, follow up on actions, and ensure thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and insurers to collect and manage necessary documentation.
• Assist the team with various ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
• Reconcile invoices and maintain adherence to invoicing procedures.
• Uphold high service standards, maintaining client satisfaction.

• At least a year of experience in a in a Customer Service or administration role.
• Previous experience within insurance, financial service or fund management company an advantage. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office.
• Adaptability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
