Customer Service Officer

Public Sector People are working closely with a council in the northern suburbs to recruit a Customer Service Officer

Position: Customer Service Officer
Duration: 6 months
Part Time: 25 hours per week 
Location: Northern Suburbs 
Rate: $34.79 per hour + Super

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide excellent first-point-of-contact service to customers contacting the Council. This will include phone, face to face and digital channels.
• Effectively manage all enquiries, requests and complaints on all of Council's services. 
• To work across multiple sites. 

Criteria:

• Customer Service experience in a call centre/ high inbound call environment 
• Ability to engage empathetically with customers with emotionally charged issues would be highly regarded.
• Bilingual candidates will be highly regarded.
• Local government experience
