We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Customer & Sales Support team. In this role you will be responsible for delivering great service to our customers and assisting with sales and inventory management.
About the Role
As Valley Seeds Customer & Sales Support you will be the linchpin that ensures a seamless customer experience.
Your days will be fast paced and varied working on the front line of our growing 100% Australian-owned and run business that produces and delivers top pasture seed to farmers across the nation.
Supporting the National Sales team you will handle incoming enquiries, process orders and manage inventory. In your role you will find practical ways to improve our customer's experience of Valley Seeds and better support the National Sales Team.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will monitor and analyse Customer and Sales KPIs and be an important part of regular Sales team meetings.
Ideally, you’ll be based in the Alexandra/Yea area.

We are a diverse mix of agronomists, researchers, logistics and Customer Service people. Our head office and manufacturing plant is in Yarck, VIC also home to one of our main Research and Development sites.
Together we work with farmers to help them achieve a wholistic pasture farm plan that meets their goals and climate conditions.
Experience and Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone who will:
- Exceed Customer Expectations: Deliver personalised, friendly, and professional service to exceed customer expectations.
- Handle Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
- Front Office Assistance: Welcome and assist customers in the front office.
- Sales Support: Assist with processing orders, providing product information, and addressing customer needs.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and coordinate with relevant departments and external providers.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues, collaborating with internal teams to reach satisfactory resolutions.
- Order Processing: Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in processing customer orders and updating databases. ERP and 3PL experience will be highly regarded.
- Customer Profile Management: Update customer profiles and databases with relevant information. CRM experience is a plus.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and overall satisfaction.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless coordination of services.
- Training: Actively participate in training opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse KPIs related to Customer Service, sales support, and inventory management.
