Introduction:
Remat Pty Ltd is an existing business that has just undergone a change of ownership, allowing for growth and expansion. This is an exciting time of change for the business, and we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Superstar to look after the day-to-day operations of the site and drive business!
Ideally you will have some previous experience in a customer facing role and the ability to work autonomously. There will be times when you are the only person on site and therefore you will also need to maintain the site during the quiet times. You will work closely with an Operator on site and often liaise with other members of the organisation.
The Role:
- Meet and greet customers with a warm and friendly approach.
- Strive for customer satisfaction ensuring repeat business.
- Experience operating a POS system will be advantageous.
- Update computer system with data as required.
- Educate customers with regards to the system used for payment.
- Minor repairs of equipment that can be resolved in house.
- Ability to engage with contractors with regards to maintenance of the equipment.
- Regular cleaning of the site and assisting with the yard activities.
- Update General Manager on site activities, operational challenges, and any site issues.
- Dispute resolution with customers, with the ability to escalate when required.
- Working in a safe working environment and reporting any safety issues as they arise.
- Maintain excellent working relationships within and outside the business.
- Ad hoc administrative duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer facing role.
- Experience working in a role that is varied, where no two days are the same.
- Ability to work in a hands-on role where you will give anything a go.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to think outside the box.
- Effective and efficient written and oral communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and initiative.
- Ability to escalate issues before they become “problems”.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Be proactive and bring a positive and enthusiastic approach to your work.
- Conduct yourself with honesty and integrity in all situations.
